Let’s Build Something Together

The entire process of solar panel installation can take as little as a few weeks to several months to complete. This may seem like an extensive period of time, but don’t let that deter you from switching to solar panels. Our solar experts are here to make the installation as painless and efficient as possible for you.

Photovoltaics, or PV, are the panels you’ve probably seen on rooftops in your neighborhood. These panels convert the sun’s light into electricity when the sun is shining. Photons from the sunlight are soaked up by the panel’s cells, and as a result, electricity flows. Only PV is appropriate for residential use, and our home solar experts work with you to install only state of the art PV panels.

How reliable are solar systems?

Solar systems have no moving components, and are therefore maintenance free. Solar panels are known to provide more than 30 years of continuous renewable energy production.

Will I be paid for solar power I don’t use?

Yes, through a process called “net-metering”, you can send any unused solar power back to your local utility company in exchange for credits that offset your monthly utility bill. At the end of the month, customers are charged the ‘net’ difference between the amount of energy they consume and the power they send to the grid.

Do I need permission from my electric utility to install a solar system?

Yes, for a grid-tied system. Since any excess energy produced will be going back to the grid. But rest assured, we handle the complete application process.

What if my home’s roofs have a lot of shade?

There are solutions available to tackle shading and still produce good energy. We can do an free onsite analysis by tracking the movement of the sun on your home and finding the best system design. There are inverters in the market specifically designed to combat shaded roofs.

"I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."
